Updated: Jan 12, 2022
Hodgdon Yachts announced today that the International Superyacht Society (ISS) presented the prestigious Business/Person of the Year Award to Timothy Hodgdon. ISS unveiled the winners during its 25th Anniversary Design & Leadership Gala that took place on November 4 at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The Business/Person of the Year Award is awarded to those demonstrating excellence in their area of Superyacht expertise within the previous year. Nominations come from the global Superyacht Industry and the winner is selected by the board members of ISS.
"This is a great honor and I would like to extend a special thank you to the entire Hodgdon team, whose dedication has allowed us to successfully complete a number of complex projects over the past year," said Timothy Hodgdon, President of Hodgdon Yachts. "From the launch of super-maxi Comanche, the construction of Superyacht quality tenders, and the refit of high-end vessels, our areas of expertise are very diverse but our commitment to delivering Superyacht quality drives all of the work we do."
The annual ISS awards recognize individuals and companies for their expertise, leadership, and dedication to raising the standards of design, construction, maintenance, repair, and operation of large yachts.
A well-deserved recognition for Timothy Hodgdon and the entire Hodgdon Yachts team. Their commitment to quality and ability to handle complex superyacht projects really stands out. It’s great to see that speed stars kind of dedication and expertise recognized by the wider superyacht industry.
