DAMARISCOTTA, Maine — Hodgdon Tenders has announced the delivery of three 40-foot (12 meter) superyacht tenders to Boardwalk, the 117 meter superyacht built by Lürssen. A repeat client of the Maine-based yard, Hodgdon was entrusted with the construction of a complete tender suite. Each vessel was purpose-built for a specific mission, and each finished to the exacting standards the program demands. The tenders were built in the United States at Hodgdon's Damariscotta, Maine facility.
40' Limousine Tender — Ship-to-Shore in Style
The 40-foot Limousine Tender was built for guest transport, where privacy, and presentation are paramount. Designed with guest experience at its core, the Limo features an enclosed cabin with a refined interior, premium custom upholstery, and climate control for comfort. Extensive custom stainless steel detailing runs throughout and ties the vessel seamlessly to the aesthetic of the mothership.
40' Beachlander — Where Other Tenders Can't Go
The 40-foot Beachlander includes a capability no other tender in the program can match: direct shore access. Designed and built with a retractable bow ramp, the Beachlander allows seamless beach landings and setting guests ashore in comfort. It doubles as a platform for fishing, and like the rest of the fleet, it is finished with extensive custom stainless steel work and bespoke upholstery that maintain the program's uncompromising standard from bow to stern.
40' Open Tender — Built for Life on the Water
The 40-foot Open Tender rounds out the suite and features a versatile, high-performance open layout designed for watersports, diving, and cocktail cruising. The Open also carries signature custom stainless steel detailing throughout, paired with bespoke upholstery that keeps the vessel looking and feeling superyacht-sharp.
Together, the three tenders represent one of the most comprehensive and cohesive tender programs Hodgdon has delivered, a full suite of purpose-built vessels that extend the capability and character of one of the world's finest superyachts.
