Available's sleek lines, metallic blue topsides and silver pilothouse are an indication of Hodgdon's innovation and quality. Beneath this striking paint finish is a carbon/kevlar/cedar composite structure. Within this performance shaped hull are all the systems found in a modern luxury yacht; hydraulic - electric sail controls, lifting keel, bow thruster, water makers, latest generation electronics and entertainment equipment.
Tripp Design's narrow lightweight hull form combined with the powerful fractional rigs and performance optimizing lifting keel make for fast easily driven yachts. Their designs easily alternate between comfortable home and seaworthy speedster. Available's design enhances the experience of a great sailing yacht with the comforts and fine appointments of a great cruising yacht. The large wraparound windscreen of the pilothouse offers excellent visibility at the interior helm and banquette while flooding the galley with natural light. Aft are two cabins with ensuite heads with the largest cabin and head forward.
On the race-cruise spectrum of Tripp's Cafe Racers AVAILABLE's appointments and systems suggest she might be more cafˇ than racer. But this is considered while she is in the building shed and our focus is on turning the systems on and bringing the boat to life. Once we take her for a couple of sails we will probably think she is more racer than cafe.
